CONTINENTAL — Continental soccer standout Paige Ordway recently learned that she was selected to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America All-Region team for 2013.
Ordway, a senior, was one of 62 players from five states to earn a spot on the all-region team. Ordway was one of 40 girls from the state of Ohio who were named all region.
Ordway was the Putnam County League Player of the Year as a senior for the Pirates as well as an all-district and all-state selection. Ordway led the Pirates with 27 goals this season and 13 assists while recording 112 tackles and 121 pass intercepts. The Pirates advanced to the Division III regional semi-finals this season.
