OTTAWA — Continental's Paige Ordway is two for two in Player of the Year awards this school year.
Ordway was named the PCL female soccer Player of the Year back in October. This Sunday she added another Player of the Year honor when she was named the PCL female basketball Player of the Year.
Leipsic coach Gary Kreinbrink was named the PCL Coach of the Year.
Ordway, a senior, averaged 17.7 ppg and 3.6 steals a game for the Pirates this past season.
Kreinbrink coached the Vikings to an undefeated PCL record this season at 7-0 and they went 19-3 in the regular season. It was the first PCL title for the Vikings since the 2008-09 season when they shared the title with Kalida.
Ordway headlined a PCL first team that included Sydney McCluer, Columbus Grove, Kylie Osterhage, Kalida, Amber Gerdeman, Leipsic, Taylor Mangas, Ottoville, and Megan Maag, Pandora-Gilboa.
The second team included Brittany Kalida, Kalida, Haley Gerten, Kelly Nadler and Shalynn Morman, all of Leipsic, and Vanessa McCullough, Pandora-Gilboa.
