BETTSVILLE -Columbus Grove's boys cross country team finished second at the Bettsville Invitational Saturday.
The Bulldogs were second to Seneca East by the score of 40 to 60.
Colton Grothaus led the Grove boys with a sixth place finish in 16:54.72. Logan Douglas finished tenth for the Bulldogs in 17:39.58, Jerry Kesselmayer was 13th in 17:54.15,Boone Brubaker was 15th in 17:58.95 and Bryce Sharrits was 16th in 18:01.04.
On the girls side, the Lady Bulldogs were seventh with 137 points.
Alexis Ricker led the Bulldogs with a tenth place finish in 21:58.87. Leah Myerholtz was 22nd in 22:48.60.

Kalida Invitational

KALIDA - Ottawa-Glandorf's Matias Trampe-Kindt had one of his better runs in the last couple of weeks as he won the Kalida Invitational boys race Saturday morning at the Kalida Fish and Game Club.
Trampe-Kindt won the boys varsity race in 16:31.90 to defeat runner-up Alex Rigg of LCC by 20 seconds.
The Titans Chris Hyman was 18th in 18:13.3 and Kalida's Adam von der Embse was 20th in 18:19.50.
As a team, the Titans finished fourth with 135 points and Kalida was tenth with 256 points. Wapakoneta won the boys division and LCC was second.
In the girls race, Kalida's Katelyn Siebeneck was fourth in 20:14.
Pandora-Gilboa's Anna Abelovska was 12th in 20:51, Vanessa McCullough was 16th in 21:18 and Breana Hovest was 19th in 21:33.9.
Ottawa-Glandorf was led by Jenny Meyer as she finished 23rd in 21:59.
Pandora-Gilboa led the local girl squads with a third place finish with 121 points. O-G finished seventh with 173 points and Kalida was eighth with 181 points.
