PUTNAM COUNTY - Four standout athletes in Putnam County made official their college choices Wednesday by signing letters of intent to further their athletic and education.

Signing letters of intent Wednesday were Jake Graham, Columbus Grove, Summer Holtkamp, Kalida, Austin Brown, Leipsic, and Wyatt Karhoff, Ottawa-Glandorf.
Graham signed a letter of intent Wednesday to attend Lake Eric College to run cross country and track and field.
Graham was a three time state qualifier in cross country and as a junior competed at state in the 3200 meter run. He finished seventh a this year's Division III state meet. He was a two-time Northwest Conference male runner of the year in cross country.
Holtkamp signed her letter of intent to attend the University of St. Francis in Fort Wayne, Ind. to play soccer. Holtkamp was a three-time Putnam County League Player of the Year for the Wildcats as well as being the teams leading scorer.
This past season she helpd Kalida reach the regional finals in Division III. She will play midfield or a forward position at St. Francis, an NAIA school.
Brown signd his letter of intent to attend Tiffin Unversity and play football.
Brown was the Blanchard Valley Conference Defensive Player of the Year this past season as the Vikings went 8-3 and reached the Division VI playoffs for a third straight season.
Karhoff signed his letter of intent Wednesday afternoon to attend the University of Findlay and play fotball.
Karhoff, a standout two-way lineman for the Titans this past season, will play on the defensive line for the Oilers, probably as a defensive end.
Karhoff played defensive end for the Titans before moving to nose guard for O-G this past season as the Titans reached the regional finals in Division IV. O-G had a 12-1 record this season. He also played left tackle for the Titans on offense.
