There were six league games on the schedule Friday night as boys basketball teams moved past the halfway point in the season.
State ranked Ottawa-Glandorf, third in Division III, moved to 11-1 on the season as they went to Kenton and pulled out a 57-45 Western Buckeye League win. The win moved the Titans to 4-0 in the WBL, tied with Elida for the top spot.
Leipsic, ranked 13th in Division IV this week, went to McComb looking to stay undefeated in the Blanchard Valley Conference with Liberty-Benton. The Vikings were unsuccessful in their attempt as they dropped a 60-57 decision to the Panthers. The Vikings are now 3-1 in the BVC.
Liberty-Benton remained undefeated in BVC action as they defeated Pandora-Gilboa 70-27. The Eagles are 4-0 in the BVC and will be at Leipsic on January 29 in a makeup game.
In Northwest Conference action, Columbus Grove went to Spencerville and dropped a 66-55 decision.
There were two Putnam County League games on the schedule Friday night.
At Miller City, the Wildcats rallied in the fourth quarter to knock off Ottoville 39-32. At Fort Jennings, the Musketeers jumped out to a quick lead, then held off a Continental rally for a 54-46 win. It was the Musketeers first PCL win of the season.
There are eight boys games on the schedule for Saturday night including a PCL contest between Kalida and Columbus Grove.
