BLUFFTON - Bluffton used a strong second quarter Saturday afternoon to defeat Fort Jennings 48-43 in non-league action.

Both teams are 3-1 after the outcome as this was the Musketeers first loss of the season.

Ft. Jennings had a 9-5 lead after one quarter before the Pirates outscored the Musketeers 15-6 in the second quarter. Both teams scored 28 points in the second half.

Sarah Schriner hit three three-pointers to lead the Pirates.

Gabbie German had 15 points to lead the Musketeers. Macy Schroeder had 13 points, six assists and two steals. Gina Stechschulte had five rebounds for the Musketeers.

Ottoville 70

Lincolnview 32

OTTOVILLE - Ottoville grabbed an early lead Saturday as the Big Green topped Lincolnview 70-32 in non-league action.

The Big Green had a 20-11 first quarter lead and led 36-24 at the half. Ottoville outscored the Lancers 34-8 in the second half for the win.

Abby Siefker and Rachel Beining both had 18 points for the Big Green.

Kalida 50

Ottawa-Glandorf 41

KALIDA - Kalida overcame an early deficit to outscore Ottawa-Glandorf 50-41 in non-league action.

O-G opened with an 8-5 first quarter scoring margin before Kalida responded with a 14-8 second quarter scoring advantage. A 31-25 second half scoring margin sealed the Wildcats win.

Jackie Gardner had 13 points for Kalida and Summer Holtkamp finished with 11

Stephanie Hempfling and Anna Bellman both had six points for the Titans.

Holgate 43

Miller City 29

MILLER CITY - Miller city jumped out to a quick lead Saturday afternoon before Holgate took charge rallying for a 43-29 non-league win.

The Wildcats (0-4) had a 14-6 lead after the opening quarter. The Tigers (3-0) outscored Miller City 10-5 in the second quarter before going on a 11-4 run in the third quarter to take the lead.

Sarah Niese and Mattie Grim both had 11 points for the Tigers and Marissa Myles had a double-double with 10 points and 15 rebounds.

Melissa Michel had 10 points and nine rebounds for Miller City.
