HEBRON - Columbus Grove's boys cross country team finished ninth Saturday at the Division III state cross country meet at National Trail Raceway outside of Hebron.

The Bulldogs finished ninth in the Division III race with 195 points. McDonald won the Division III state title with 94 points and Maplewood was second with 103 points.
Junior Colin Grothaus led the Bulldogs with a 21st place finish in 16:38.72 a she earned second team all-Ohio honors. Logan Douglas was the next Bulldog across the finish line in 65th place in 17:19.53.
Ottawa-Glandorf senior Matias Trampe-Kindt finished 28th in the Division II boys race in 16:52.19 as he just missed earning all-Ohio honors for a second straight season.
Defiance won the boys Division II state title with 107 points as Tippecanoe was second with 140 points.
