High school football season opens

Ottawa-Glandorf opened the 2013 season by traveling to Fostoria and coming home with a 55-0 win over the Redmen. The Titans were up 21-0 after the opening quarter and doubled that in the second quarter as they had a 42-0 halftime lead. The Titans added a pair of third quarter scores while their defense pitched a shutout on the night.

Leipsic opened the season with a 33-20 win over Hopewell-Loudon. Hopewell-Loudon had the early lead before the Vikings stormed back for the win.
Pandora-Gilboa opened the season Friday night by beating Route 12 rival Columbus Grove 26-12.
All four teams will be back in action next Friday as conference play begins in most area leagues.
