Kalida-Miller City ACME game suspended

COLUMBUS GROVE — The ACME sectional tournament game Monday evening between Kalida and Miller City was suspended due to darkness.
The two teams were tied 9-9 after nine innings when the game was called due to darkness. The game will be resumed today, at 5 p.m., at Miller City. The winner advances to take on Ottawa-Glandorf at 6 p.m. in the championship game. The winner of the Kalida and Miller City game also will punch their ticket to Saturday's District 2 ACME district tournament at Patrick Henry.
The two South Division teams will join Patrick Henry and Pettisville in the district tournament. Patrick Henry and Pettisville are the two teams remaining in the North Division of the ACME sectional.
The district tournament starts on Saturday with games at noon and 2:30 p.m. After the championship games tonight, and Wednesday if needed, the seeds for the district will be set.
