CELINA — Kalida's golf team capped off a busy week Friday by winning the Celina Invitational at the Fox Den Golf Course.

Friday's invitational was the fifth in five days for the Wildcat golfers and they ended a busy week by edging St. Henry for the championship. Kalida won the event with a 330 team score as the Redskins finished second with a 331. Wapakoneta was a close third with a 332.

Ottawa-Glandorf finished with a 387 team score in the 19 team event.

Junior Christian Nartker paced the Wildcats effort Friday with a 74 for medalist honors. This was the third time this week Nartker has earned medalist honors for the Wildcats, the others coming Monday at the Defiance Invitational and Thursday at the Paulding Invitational.

Josh Klausing backed up Nartker with an 80, while Luke Erhart had an 84 and Josh Recker had a 92. Grace Miller finished with a 94 as Kaldia's fifth golfer.

Austin Radcliff led the Titans effort Friday with an 89 and Evan Ellerbrock had a 92. Alex Ellerbrock chipped in a 99, Zach Stechschulte had a 107 and Collin Hempfling a 123.

Bath's Isaiah Bolon was the second low individual on the day with a 75 and Findlay's Jordan Goeb was third with a 76.
