Leipsic defeats Arcadia in BVc action

LEIPSIC - Everyone in the Leipsic lineup Friday night contributed as the Vikings blasted Arcadia 92-40 in Blanchard Valley Conference action.All 13 players dressed for the Vikings Friday night scored as Leipsic moved to 2-0 in the conference and 7-1 overall. Arcadia is 0-3 in the BVC and 0-9 overall.
Leipsic had a 27-10 lead after one quarter and were up 51-19 at the half.
Zach Kuhlman led the Vikings with 21 points, while Mitch Kuhlman had 13 points. Austin Brown had 11 points and six rebounds and Devin Mangas had 10 points. Aric Schroeder dished out nine assists for the Vikings and Derek Steffan had five steals.
Hayden Ramsey had 14 points for the Redskins.
Leipsic won the junior varsity contest 65-17.
CONVOY - Crestview outscored Ottoville in every quarter Friday night as the Knights posted a 50-37 non-league win.
The Knights (8-1) had a 13-9 lead after one quarter and were up 30-21 at the break. Crestview continued to pull away in the second half for the win.
Damian Helm led the Knights with 13 points and six rebounds. Cory Lautzenheiser and Tyler Bolenbaugh both had 10 points for Crestview.
Ryan Honigford led the Big Green with 14 points. Derek Schimmoeller and Luke Schimmoeller both had nine points for the Big Green
Miller City 59
Patrick Henry 48
HAMLER - Miller City started strong and finished equally strong as the Wildcats posted a 59-48 non-league win against Patrick Henry.
The Wildcats (6-3) jumped out to a 10-4 first quarter lead and were up 33-30 heading to the fourth quarter. A 26-18 run by the Wildcats in the final quarter gave them the win.
Austin Lammers led the Wildcats with 18 points, while Ross Kaufman had 17 points and seven rebounds. Adam Drummelsmith pulled down seven rebounds for Miller City in the win.
AJ Wagner had 16 points for the Patriots.
Columbus Grove 59
MIDDLE POINT - Columbus Grove used a big night from Will Vorhees to defeat Lincolnview 59-49 in Northwest Conference action.
Vorhees, a junior, led the Bulldogs with 28 points as he hit 9-of-12 field goal attempts in the game and was 10-of-10 at the free throw line. Jace Darbyshire added 13 points and Derek Rieman had nine points.
The Bulldogs are 1-1 in the NWC and 5-3 overall.
Justis DOwdy had 12 points to lead the Lancers.
Pandora-Gilboa fell to Arlington in Blanchard Valley Conference action 41-22. No other details of this game was available Friday night.
