COLUMBUS GROVE - Leipsic rallied in the third and fourth games Tuesday night to defeat Columbus Grove 25-19, 12-25, 25-23 and 26-24 in Putnam County League action.

With the match tied 1-1, the Bulldogs built had a 16-10 lead in the third game before the Vikings (4-0) came back to tie the game at 18-18. Leipsic was unable to get the lead until a missed attack by the Bulldogs put Leipsic on top 23-22. The Vikings went up 24-22 before the Bulldogs used an attack to make it a 24-23 game. Leipsic was able to get a kill to take a 2-1 lead in games.
Columbus Grove led much of the fourth game as they were up 24-17 after a hitting error by the Vikings. The Bulldogs (2-1) were unable to close out the game although they appeared to win the game when a Viking attack was called out.
Leipsic questioned the call saying a Columbus Grove played had touched the ball on a block attempt. After a discussion among the officials, the Vikings were awarded the point and used the break to rally for the win as two hitting errors by the Bulldogs gave them the winning points.
Briana Glass was 14-of-15 serving for the Bulldogs with two aces and Hope Schroeder was 8-of-8 serving. Kelli Vorst had 20 digs and Julia Wynn had 12 kills. Rachel Schumacher had 17 assists in the win.

Ottawa-Glandorf 3
OTTAWA - Ottawa-Glandorf rallied from a game down Tuesday night to post a 20-25, 25-10, 25-23, 25-18 win over Lima Central Catholic.
Kayla Leatherman had two aces and 29 digs for the Titans, while Anna Bellman had 12 kills and five blocks. Niki Ellerbrock had 11 kills and 27 digs and Madison Stechschulte had 21 assists.
O-G won the junior varsity match 15-25, 25-18, 26-24.

Ottoville 3

MIDDLE POINT - Ottoville picked up their first win of the season Tuesda night as they defeated Lincolnview 25-18, 25-17, 25-23.
Nicole Kramer was 11-of-11 serving for the Big Green (1-1) with three aces, while Taylor Mangas was 14-of-15 hitting with nine kills. Mangas also had 12 digs and Lexie Thorbahn was 21-of-21 setting with 13 assists.
Ottoville won the junior varsity match 11-25, 25-22, 25-22.

KALIDA - Van Wert ruined Kalida's season opener as the Cougars posted a 25-18, 25-9, 23-25, 25-15 win over the Wildcats.
Liz Turnwald had eight kills for the Wildcats and Alexis Decker had 10 points and 17 assists. Kylie Osterhage had six kills for the Wildcats.

TINORA - Tinora defeated Miller City in non-league volleyball action 25-17, 25-17, 25-13.
Amanda Schroeder had seven kills for the Wildcats (0-4)as she was 13-of-17 hitting. Kylee Ricker was 25-of-25 setting with four assists and Janke vanWezel was 11-of-11 serving.

CONTINENTAL - Wayne Trace picked up a volleyball win defeating Continental 25-8, 25-13, 25-21.

PANDORA - Pandora-Gilboa opened the volleyball season Tuesday night with a 25-21, 25-19, 25-20 non-league win against Bluffton.
Mikaylie Morman was 15-of-16 serving for the Rockets and 23-of-25 hitting with five kills. Vivan Nofzinger was 13-of-13 serving and 78-of-79 setting with 33 assists and three kills. Megan Maag had three aces, 15 digs and 18 kills as she was 43-of-46 hitting with four blocks and was 12-of-14 serving.
Olivia Maag had five kills as she was 12-of-12 hitting and she was 10-of-11 serving, while Hunter Hermiller had 11 kills on 27-of-29 hitting with two aces and Alexa Maag had four blocks.
P-G won the junior varsity match 25-18, 25-17.
