OTTAWA - Leipsic didn't want to wait around to start their second season.
The Vikings bypassed a bye in the Ottawa-Glandorf Division IV sectiona tournament to play a tournament game. North Baltimore wishes the Vikings had taken that bye as the Vkings jumped out to an early lead and never looked back in posting a 107-39 win.
The win advances the Vikings to the sectional finals Friday at 8 p.m. Leipsic reached the 100 point mark for the third time this season.
Leipsic (19-4) jumped out to a 29-8 fist quarter lead and were up 60-23 at the half with a 31-15 second quarter scoring margin.
Devin Mangas led the Vikings with 22 points and Austin Brown finished with 20. Zach Kuhlman added 15 points, Caleb Barrera 14 and Mitch Kuhlman chipped in with 10 points.
Jacob Frost had 14 points for the Tigers.
