OTTAWA - TJ Metzger was in a zone Saturday night as Ottawa-Glandorf hosted Kalida in non-league action.

Metzger, a senior, dropped in nine three-pointers to help the Titans to a 68-47 non-league win against the Wildcats.
The nine three-pointers is a school record for O-G surpassing the record of seven held by Curt Croy and Todd Schumaker in the 2001 season. Overall, the Titans canned 15 three-pointers in the game, which breaks the school record of 13 against Delphos Jefferson (2011) and Lakota (2009).
Metzger had the hot hand early as he hit five of his three-pointers in the first quarter as the Titans grabbed a 17-9 lead. O-G continued to pull away with a 18-13 second quarter scoring advantage, then outscored Kalida 13-3 in the third quarter.
Metzger finished the night with 33 points, while Jaylen Von Sossan had 12 points, all on three-pointers. Eric Beckman and Alex Schroeder added three-pointers.
Cody Mathew led Kalida with 19 points as he had five three-pointers in the game. Austin Horstman finished with 13 points and Devin Kortokrax had 10 points.
