City connected on 19-of-32 free throws in the contest, while Kalida
went to the charity stripe just 11 times, making five. Adam Niese hit
eight free throws for the Wildcays and Jacob Gerten seven.

Bulldogs wasted little time in getting a big lead as they outscored the
Vikings 19-1 in the first quarter. Columbus Grove added to its lead
with a slim 16-15 second quarter scoring advantage for a 35-16 halftime
lead. The Vikings outscored Grove 11-8 in the third quarter before Grove
closed out the game with a 12-6 fourth quarter scoring advantage.
Darbyshire had 18 points for Grove, while Will Vorhees had 16 points
and eight rebounds. Logan Diller had nine points for the Bulldogs and
Riley Brubaker pulled down eight rebounds.
Zach Kuhlman led the Vikings with 16 pointsand five rebounds.

VAN WERT — Crestview took control of their Division IV sectional final game with Fort Jennings right away.
The top ranked Knights had a 20 plus point lead after one quarter on their way to a 69-29 win over the Musketeers at Van Wert High School.

Crestview didn't waste any time in taking control of
this matchup outscoring the Musketeers 26-4 in the first quarter. Damian
Helm had a big opening quarter for the Knights with 11 points and
Mitchell Rickard had six on a pair of three-pointers. The Knight defense
held the Musketeers without a point for nearly half the quarter until
Mark Metzger scored.
Crestview continued to build its lead with a 15-9 second quarter scoring run for a 41-13 lead.
Helm led the Knights with 20 points and Rickard had 12 points.
Austin Kehres had seven points for the Musketeers.

John's used a big second half Friday night to rally for a 52-41 Division
IV sectional final win over Ottoville.
The win sends the Blue Jays to the Division IV district semi-finals at Elida Tuesday against Miller City at 8 p.m.
had a slim 20-19 halftime lead on the Blue Jays. St. John's turned the
game around in the third quarter with a 11-5 scoring advantage for a
30-25 lead before closing out the game with a 22-16 fourth quarter
St. John’s used a balanced scoring attack led by Tyler Conley with 12 points while Andy Grothouse and Evan Hays added 11 and 10 points respectively.
Brandt Landin had 18 points for the Big Green and Luke Schimmoeller had 14.
Wayne Trace 58
PAULDING — Wayne Trace had trouble shaking an upstart Continental squad Friday in a Division IV sectional final at Paulding.
Raiders led from the start, but was unable to pull away from the
Pirates until the fourth quarter. Using a scoring advantage in the final
quarter the Raiders pulled away from the Pirates for a 58-40 win.
Trace had a 34-25 lead going to the fourth quarter before the Raiders
used a 24-15 fourth quarter scoring edge for the win.
Wade Stauffer had 14 points and five rebounds for the Pirates (11-13), while Jacob Williams had nine points and four rebounds.
Wenzlick led the Raiders (20-3) with 14 points and David Sinn added 10.
Wenzlick pulled down eight rebounds for the Raiders.
