MILLER CITY - Miller City put together a fourth quarter rally Friday night as the Wildcats posted a 39-32 Putnam County League win against Ottoville.

The Big Green took a 27-24 lead to the fourth quarter of this low scoring game before the Wildcats rallied. The Wildcats (3-1, 10-3) outscored Ottoville 15-5 in the fourth quarter for the win.

Ottoville had a 6-3 lead after the opening quarter and were up 12-11 at halftime.

Austin Lammers drained four three-pointers as he led the Wildcats with 12 points. Ross Kaufman finished with eight points. Cory Heuerman pulled down five rebounds and had three assists as did Adam Niese.

Luke Schimmoeller led the Big Green with 17 points and Derek Schimmoeller finished with 11. Luke Schimmoeller grabbed six rebounds for Ottoville.

Miller City won a two quarter junior varsity game 23-15.

FORT JENNINGS - Fort Jennings grabbed a quick lead Friday night as the Musketeers topped Continental 54-46 in Putnam County League action.

The Musketeers (1-2, 2-12) jumped out to a 23-7 first quarter lead on the Pirates. Kurt Warnecke paced the Musketeer attack early with eight points, while Connor Wallenhorst added six points. Tyler Dockery had a three-pointer for the Pirates.

Continental battled back over the middle two quarters to pull within 36-33 after three quarters. The Pirates outscored the Musketeers 12-4 in the second quarter as Chaz Slattman had eight points in the quarter and in the third quarter the Pirates posted a 14-9 scoring edge as Zach Schwarzman had six points for Continental.

Fort Jennings held on for the win outscoring the Pirates 18-13 in the final quarter. Brandon Kohli had seven fourth quarter points for the Musketeers and Warnecke had six points, all at the free throw line. Tyler Dockery had nine points for Continental in the quarter.

Kohli led the Musketeers with 15 points, while Warnecke had 14 points, 10 rebounds and five assists. Wallenhorst finished with 13 points.

Chaz Slattman led the Pirates with 17 points. Dockery finished with 12 points, all on three-pointers.
