MILLER CITY — Miller City tuned up for their upcoming district game by facing Ayersville Monday afternoon.
Wildcats had a successful tuneup as they defeated the Pilots 7-1 in
non-league action. The Wildcats, who played Columbus Grove in the
district semi-finals today at Elida, move to 18-6 on the season.
took a 1-0 lead in the first inning before Miller City tied the game in
the bottom of the second inning. A four run third inning gave the
Wildcats the lead for good.
Adam Drummelsmith (5-1) picked up the win for Miller City as he worked four innings.
Fuka had a single and double for the Wildcats, while Drummelsmith had a
pair of singles. Ross Lehman had a double for Miller City as well.
Jacob Kahle took the loss for Ayersville. Kahle had a single and double for the Pilots in the setback.

MCCOMB — McComb scored a run in the bottom of the eighth inning Monday to defeat Ottawa-Glandorf 6-5 in non-league action.
Titans (19-6) tied the game with two runs in the seventh before the
Panthers pushed across the game winning run in the bottom of the eighth.
McComb had built a 5-3 lead in the bottom of the sixth as they scored
Brad Croy took the loss for the Titans. Tyler Zender
had three singles for O-G, while Austin Williams had a single, double
and two RBIs. Croy had two singles and Ben Deitering had a single,
double and two RBIs.
Mitch Schroeder had a double and home run for
the Panthers (20-3) with two RBIs abd Clay Grubb had a single, double
and two RBIs. Caiden Schroeder had the game winning single for the

LEIPSIC — Arlington scored twice in the top eighth inning Monday to defeat Leipsic 6-4 in Blanchard Valley Conference action.
Vikings (5-4, 9-17) tied the game in the bottom of the sixth inning
before the Red Devils pushed across two runs in the top of the eighth on
a throwing error. Leipsic had a 3-1 lead after three innings before
Arlington rallied to take the lead.
Nick Affholder picked up the
win for the Red Devils (7-2, 18-5). Affholder also had three singles and
a double in the win. Tyler Richardson had a single and home run and
Justin Rice had a double and two singles.
Grant Rader (4-) took
the loss for Leipsic. Neil Haselman had a double and single for the
Vikings, while Justin Ellerbrock and Logan Selhorst both had two
