TOLEDO - Miller City scored three times in the sixth inning Tuesday afternoon to defeat Pandora-Gilboa 6-3 in non-league action at Fifth Third Field in Toledo, home of the Toledo MudHens.
The game was an ACL fundraiser that was postponed from its original date in April.
After the Rockets tied the game in the bottom of the fifth with a run, the Wildcats (16-7) answered back with three runs in the top of the sixth and made them stand up. Miller City had taken a 3-2 lead in the top of the fifth with two runs before P-G tied the game.
Adam Drummelsmith (3-3) picked up the win for the Wildcats as he worked three innings in relief of starter Ross Kaufman. Drummelsmith allowed one hit and had three strikeouts.
Jared Fuka had two singles and four RBI for the Wildcats, while Logan Dukes and Adam Niese both had two singles.
Jacob Basinger took the loss for the Rockets as he went the distance. Basinger had a triple and two singles for P-G and Brian Schneck had a double.
