FOSTORIA - Miller City jumped out to an early lead Thursday evening as the Wildcats downed Fostoria St. Wendelin 73-41 in non-league action.
The Wildcats jumped out to a 23-14 first quarter lead and were up 40-26 at the break. Miller City continued to pull away in the third quarter leading 55-34 after 24 minutes of action.
Ross Kaufman led 11 Miller City players in the scorebook with 18 points. Cory Heuerman and Ross Vennekotter both had 10 points for the Wildcats. Austin Lammers had eight points, six rebounds and three assists. Heuerman came up with seven steals in the game as Miller City forced 31 turnovers.
Gabe Walters led St. Wendelin with eight points.
