MILLER CITY - Van Buren scored a pair of second half goals Monday afternoon as the Black Knights topped the Wildcats 3-2 in non-league action.

With the game tied 1-1 at halftime, the Black Knights took a 2-1 lead with 29:20 left when Ryan Turner scored a goal. Van Buren (10-6) went up 3-1 when Daniel Roberts scored a goal with 6:15 left.
Miller City (7-3-3) made it a 3-2 game when Travis Maas scored with 7:19 left. The Wildcat were unable to come up with the tying goal.
Trenton Boyette gave the Black Knights 1-0 lead with a goal with 21:32 left in the first half. The Wildcats tied the contest on a Jared Snyder goal with 18:48 left in the first half as Jackson Lammers had an assist.
Both teams missed a penalty kick in the contest.
Van Buren had a 7-6 edge in shots on goal. Miller City keeper Hunter Berner and Van Buren keeper Nathan Maynard both had four saves.
