HAVILAND - Miller City's golf team finished second at the Wayne Trace Boys Golf Invitational Thursday at Pleasant Valley Golf Course.
The Wildcats shot a 163 team score for the nine hole event which placed them four shots behind Lincolnview for first place. The Lancers shot a 159 team score. Fort Jennings finished fifth with a 183.
The WIldcats' Austin Lammers and Jared Fuka tied for the second low round of the day as both golfers shot a 38. Cody Sheets had a 43 and Davis Lammers a 44.
The Lancers won the tournament as they were led by medalist Joshah Rager with a 37. Logan C. Miller had a 39 and Damon Norton a 41. Derek Youtsey had a 42.
Nate German and Sam Vetter led the Musketeers with 43s. Luke Luebrecht had a 45 and Alex Sealts a 52.
