MILLER CITY — Miller City banged out 12 hits Monday afternoon as the Wildcats finished the season with a 10-0 Putnam County League win over Pandora-Gilboa.

Noah Otto led the Wildcats (4-3, 13-8) at the plate with a single, double and triple and five RBIs and Tyler Long had two singles and two RBIs. Mark Kuhlman nad Jeremy Demuth both had two singles for Miller City on senior night.

On the mound, Otto pitched 4 2/3 solid innings as he didn't allow a run on one hit with eight strikeouts. Tyler Schroeder came on to get the final out.

The Wildcats scored twice in the first inning before scoring four times in each of the third and fourth innings.

Alex Ricker took the loss for the Rockets as he went 3 1/3 innings allowing 10 runs, six earned, on 11 hits.

Trey Hovest and Trevor Gerten had singles for the Rockets.

P-G played the game without their senior players.

Ottoville 1

OTTOVILLE — For the second straight outing, Leipsic’s Cole Rieman was solid on the mound for the Vikings.

After throwing a perfect game last Wednesday, the junior was back on the mound Monday against Ottoville in a Putnam County League makeup game. Rieman was solid again allowing one run on four hits in pitching the Vikings to a 9-1 win.

Rieman threw only 69 pitches in going the distance as he struck out four batters and didn’t issue a walk.

At the plate, Rieman had a single and triple and drove in two runs, while Wes Garcia had had a single and two RBIs. Dylan Schroeder added a single and double with an RBI and Tyler Hiegel had a single and RBI for the Vikings.

Nick Moorman took the loss for the Big Green (4-3, 10-8) as he went 4 1/3 innings allowing four runs, three earned, on six hits with five walks and two strikeouts.

Zane Martin had a double and RBI for the Big Green.

Lincolnview 5

Kalida 0

MIDDLE POINT — Kalida and Lincolnview squared off in non-league action Monday with the Lancers claiming a 5-0 win.

The Lancers scored in the first inning, then added two runs in each of the fifth and sixth innings for the win.

Ethan Parsons picked up the win for the Lancers (20-4) as he went 6 1/3 innings not allowing a run on six hits with seven strikeouts. Chayton Overholt came on to get the final two outs, on strikeouts, while giving up a hit.

Chayten Overholt had two singles and a home run, inside the park, in the win, while Jaden Youtsey had a single and drove in two runs.

Josh Recker took the loss for Kalida (15-7) as he went three innings allowing a run on three hits. Kevin Hamburg worked two innings in relief and Clay Bellman worked an inning.

Owen Recker had three singles for the Wildcats and Trevor Lambert added two singles.
