OTTAWA — One night after losing to Elida by 20 points, Ottawa-Glandorf's boys basketball team took out its frustration on Leipsic Saturday night in non-league action.
The Titans came out fired up on both ends of the court as they outscored the Vikings 27-3 in the opening quarter, building a 13-0 lead before the Vikings scored.
Noah Bramlage led the Titans (12-7) with 24 points and eight rebounds, while Zach Kuhlman had 13 points and Matias Trampe-Kindt had 11 points.
Leipsic's Zach Kuhlman led all scorers with a game high 31 points. Matt Schroeder added 12 points to the Vikings (9-9) win.
Ottawa-Glandorf won the junior varsity game 73-12.
Lima Bath 77
Columbus Grove 51
COLUMBUS GROVE — Lima Bath took control of its game with Columbus Grove early in posting a 77-51 non-league win.
The Wildcats outscored the Bulldogs 19-10 in the first quarter and 20-10 in the second quarter for a 39-20 halftime lead.
Treon Sullivan led Bath with 27 points.
Will Vorhees, Jace Darbyshire and Logan Diller all had 10 points for Columbus Grove (11-7).
Bath won the junior varsity game 77-51.
Delphos Jefferson 69
Fort Jennings 47
FORT JENNINGS — Delphos Jefferson picked up a non-league win Saturday night as they topped Fort Jennings 69-47.
Jefferson grabbed a 19-7 first quarter lead and were up 36-15 at halftime.
Trey Smith led the Wildcats with 33 points. Jace Stockwell added 14 points and Ross Thompson had 10 points. Thompson had 14 rebounds in the win for Jefferson.
Nick Von Sossan led the Musketeers with 20 points.
KALIDA — Kalida hit 24 free throws Saturday night as the Wildcats ended a losing streak with a 61-47 non-league win over Ayersville.
Kalida went 24-of-27 at the free throw line as they were led by Joe Gerdeman's 11-of-11 effort at the line. Devin Kortokrax was 7-of-7 at the line. The Pilots were 14-of-24 at the line for the game.
The Wildcats had a 24-16 halftime lead before outscoring the Pilots in the second half 37-31.
Kortokrax, who had three three-pointers in the game, led the Wildcats with 22 points and Gerdeman finished with 19 points.
Kalida won the junior varsity game 42-36.
CONTINENTAL — Continental was blanked offensively in the third quarter Saturday night, but built a big enough in the first half to defeat Stryker 54-46 in non-league action.
The Pirates (6-12) built a 34-21 halftime lead before being blanked in the third quarter 8-0. Both teams scored 17 points in the fourth quarter for the final score.
Gabe Williams led the Pirates with 18 points and Wade Stauffer finished with 12 points and four assists. Williams also grabbed six rebounds in the win and had three steals.
Miller City 55
ARLINGTON — Miller City went on the road Saturday night and dropped a 60-55 decision to non-league Arlington.
