O-G girls soccer beats Defiance

DEFIANCE - Ottawa-Glandorf's girls soccer team bounced back from their first loss of the season with a 7-1 win over Defiance Thursday evening in Western Buckeye League action.After losing to Shawnee Monday in WBL action, O-G came back strong scoring six first half goals Thursday.
Ashley Siefker scored a pair of goals for the Titans (6-1-2) in the first half, while Michelle Maag had a goal and two assists, Stephanie Hepfling, Grace Warnecke and Danielle Schoeder all scored for the Titans in the first half and Lindsey Prichard scored in the second half. Hempfling and Katelyn Kaufman had assists.
O-G outshot the Bulldogs 23-0 as Cassie Schroeder didn't have to make a save for the Titans. Bulldog goalie Allison Manson had 14 saves.
O-G won the junior varsity contest 9-0.
Delphos St. John's 0
DELPHOS - Paige Ordway had a goal and assist for Continental Thursday as the Pirates topped Delphos St. John's 3-.
Ordway assisted on a goal by Amelia Weller to start the scoring, then gave the Pirates a 2- halftime lead with an unassisted goal. Sloane Zachrich scored a second half goal as McKenna Scott assistd.
Continental outshot the Blue Jays 25-8 as Emma Recker had seven saves. Samantha Wehri had 15 saves for the Blue Jays.
Delphos Jefferson 0
FORT JENNINGS - Jackie Gardner had a hat trick for Kalida Thursday as the Wildcats topped Delphos Jefferson 4-0 in non-league actin.
Gardner's scored three times for Kalida (5-0-1) and Brittany Kahle had an assist. Kylee HAehn had an assist for the Wildcats.
Kalida outshot Jefferson 23-2 for the match. Laine Laudick had one save for Kalida and Kayleigh O'Connor had 16 saves for Delphos.
Miller City 1
MILLER CITY - Jessica Schmenk scored a goal as Miller City beat Ottoville 1-0 in Putnam County League soccer action.
Miller City outshot the Big Green 15-3 as Amanda Simon had the shutout in goal for the Wildcats.
