COLUMBUS - Ottawa-Glandorf senior Torie Allgire capped off her high school track and field career with a fourth place finish in the Division II pole vault Saturday morning at Jesse Owens Stadium.

Allgire finished fourth in the pole vault having cleared 10-6. For the second straight week, Allgire had to share her spot on the awards stand with two Western Buckeye League rivals. Allgire shared fourth place with Celina's Bekah Carr and Kenton's Terrill Webb as all three vaulters were knocked out of the competition at 10-6.
At the regional meet, Allgire shared second place with two other WBL competitors.
Allyson Simmons won the pole vault as she cleared 12-5 1/4.
The O-G girls made one other trip to the awards stand as the 800 Relay team of Danielle Ellerbrock, Michelle Maag, Elissa Ellerbrock and Madison Stechschulte finished eighth in 1:43.70, which was a personal best for the group of all underclassmen.
Elissa Ellerbrock competed in the 800 meter run finishing tenth in 2:18.34.
Michelle Maag competed in the long jump Saturday morning, but did not make the finals.
