COLUMBUS GROVE — The only basketball game played Saturday evening delighted those fans that braved the weather to watch it.
Ottawa-Glandorf and Columbus Grove battled down to the final minute before the Titans pulled away at the free throw line for a 50-43 non-league win.
The Titans improved to 9-6 on the season, while the Bulldogs dropped to 7-6. Although not a sellout, Columbus Grove's gym was three quarter full for the game.
The game was tied at halftime 25-25 before the Titans had a 35-34 lead going to the fourth quarter. O-G had a 44-43 lead late in the fourth quarter before scoring the final six points of the game. Noah Bramlage and Alex Schroeder both hit two free throws for the Titans down the stretch and Tyler Zender grabbed an offensive rebounds for two points. Columbus Grove missed two shots during the final of the game and turned the ball over twice.
Bramlage led the Titans with a game high 24 points, while Schroeder had 12 points.
Will Vorhees and Riley Brubaker both had 16 points for the Bulldogs. Vorhees also had seven rebounds and four assists for the Bulldogs.
Ottawa-Glandorf's junior varsity team remained undefeated with a 39-26 win.
