OTTAWA - For the second straight Friday evening Ottawa-Glandorf's boys basketball team was forced to play an overtime period.

This time the extra session was good for the Titans. O-G connected on 7-of-8 free throws in the final 35 seconds as they rallied to defeat Archbold 62-56 in non-league action. The win moves the Titans to 5-3 on the season, while the Blue Streaks are 5-1.
For the game the Titans went 18-of-23 at the line as two of their bigger free throws on the night came late in the fourth quarter when Zach Kuhlman hit two free throws to tie the game at 49-49. Neither team was able to score in the final 20 seconds as the Blue Streaks had two chances at the end of regulation only to see both miss.
In overtime, the Blue Streaks grabbed the lead as Fischer converted a three point play. The Titans tied the game as Noah Bramlage hit a free throw, then O-G forced an Archbold turnover and Tyler Zender scored on a layup to tie the game at 52-52.
Alex Schroeder hit a free throw to give the Titans the lead and Zender made it a three point game when he scored. Brandon Goering hit two free throws to make it a one point game before two free throws each by Matias Trampe-Kindt and Kuhlman made it 59-54 O-G. After a Blue Streak basket, a free throw by Zender and two by Trampe-Kindt ended the scoring.
O-G was 9-of-12 at the line in overtime.
Alex Schroeder led the Titans with 14 points, while Bramlage had 12 points and 11 rebounds. Kuhlman finished with 11 points and Zender had nine points.
Fischer had 15 points for the Blue Streaks and Goering 12.
