Ottawa-Glandorf shocked by St. Marys

OTTAWA - Ottawa-Glandorf dropped their second straight Western Buckeye League game Friday night as they fell to St. Marys 49-48 at home.The loss dropped O-G two games behind WBL leader Bath as they are 5-2 in league play and 15-3 overall. One week prior the Titans fell to Elida to suffer their first league loss. Bath defeated Elida Friday night to take sole possession of the WBL lead at 7-0. The win was the first of the season for the Roughriders in WBL play. Bath comes to O-G next Friday night for a WBL encounter.
Ottawa-Glandorf outscored the Roughriders 11-9 in the fourth quarter as they fell short of completing the comeback.
The Titans had an 8-6 lead after a low scoring first quarter before St. Marys took a 23-20 halftime lead with a 17-12 scoring run in the second quarter. Both teams scored 17 points in the third quarter.
Fledderjohn led the Roughriders with a game high 26 points as he hit four three-pointers in the game. James added 17 points as he hit five three-pointers.
Alex Westrick paced the Titans with 14 points, while Matt Kaufman and Michael Rosebrock both had bin points for O-G.
