COLUMBUS GROVE - Ottawa-Glandorf held Columbus Grove to single digits in all four quarters Thursday night as the Titans posted a 57-23 non-league win.The Titans (4-5) defense was solid all night as the Bulldogs never reached double digits in a quarter as they took only 26 shots in the game. O-G jumped out to a 12-9 first quarter lead and extended that to 30-13 at the half. The Bulldogs were held to just 10 points in the second half once O-G had the big lead.
Kialee Koch led a balanced O-G attack with eight points, while Danielle Okluy, Anna Bellman and Kristen Miller all had six points. Elissa Ellerbrock pulled down seven rebounds.
Sydney McCluer led the Bulldogs (1-9) with 10 points and three rebounds. Sammi Stechschulte grabbed four rebounds.
The Bulldogs were just 7-of-26 shooting for the game. They attempted only 18 two-point field goals going 6-fo-18 from the floor (33 percent).
Ottawa-Glandorf won the junior varsity contest 35-17.
