ROCHESTER, MN - Ottawa's American Legion baseball team had a rough day Saturday at a tournament in Rochester, Minn.

In the teams opening game Saturday, Post 63 dropped a 9-5, eight inning, decision to Austin. Ottawa tied the game in the bottom of the seventh with a run before Austin responded with four runs in the top of the eighth inning for the win.
Ross Thompson had two hits and an RBI for Ottawa, while Jaylen Von Sossan and Tyler Zender both had two hits for Post 63 (13-8).
In their second game Saturday, Post 63 fell to LaCrosse, WI 8-3.
LaCrosse scored six times in the fifth inning to take control of the game. Until that point in the game, Post 63 had a 1-0 lead after scoring in the bottom of the first inning.
Ottawa was held to four hits in the game as Matt Jay and Drew Schierloh both had a double in the game.
