RICHMOND, Ind. - Ottawa's American Legion baseball team won twice Saturday to move to 3-0 in the Bob Haustetter tournament in Richmond, Ind.

Posy 63 defeated Brooklyn 8-5 in one game and topped a team from Lansing, Mich. 5-2. The two wins sets up Ottawa for a run at the tournament title on Sunday.
In the win over Brooklyn, Ottawa scored six times in the fifth inning to secure the win. Post 63 were down 3-2 going to the bottom of the fifth when they scored five times to take the lead for good. Brooklyn attempted a comeback with two runs in the sixth inning.
Tanner Schimmoeller picked up the win for Post 63 as he worked four innings. Cory Imm, Brandon Benroth and Drew Schierloh all had two hits for Ottawa in the win. Matt Jay had three RBI for Post 63.
In the win over Lansing, Ottawa had a 2-0 lead before scoring three times in the fifth inning. Lansing scored both of their runs in the sixth inning.
Jaylen Von Sossan picked up the win for Ottawa as he allowed two runs on nine hits.
Imm had two hits for Post 63 as they had just six hits for the game.
