Ottoville rallies to defeat Bath

BATH TWP. - It took Ottoville a little time to get rolling Tuesday night as they faced Bath in a non-league matchup.After the Wildkittens had an early lead on the Big Green, Ottoville turned the tide in the second quarter on their way to a 50-31 non-league win. The number ranked Big Green (Division IV) moved to 11-0 on the season, while Bath is 7-4.
Bath had a 13-7 lead early in the second quarter before the Big Green went on a 12-1 run to take a 19-14 lead. Ottoville was up 21-16 at the half then broke the game open with a 13-3 run in the third quarter. Ottoville scored the first seven points of the third quarter to go up 28-16 before Bath scored its first points of the second half.
Abby Siefker led the Big Green with 15 points, while Taylor Mangas tossed in 13 points and Rachel Beining finished with 12 points.
Fort Jennings 70
FORT JENNINGS - Fort Jennings tied the game at the buzzer, then outscored Elida in overtime to claim a 70-67 non-league win Tuesday night.
The Musketeers' Gabbi German forced overtime when she grabbed an offensive rebound off a missed three-pointer and scored to beat the buzzer. In overtime, Ft. Jennings (5-7) outscored the Bulldogs 12-9 for the win.
Schroeder led the Musketeers with 18 points and three steals, while Ashley Gable and German both had 15 points for the Musketeers. German pulled down six rebounds for the Musketeers.
Miller City 68
Delphos Jefferson 35
MILLER CITY - Melissa Michel had a huge night for Miller City as the Wildcats topped Delphos Jefferson 68-35 in non-league action.
Michel scored a game high 26 points and grabbed 23 rebounds as Miller City moved to 2-10 on the season. Amanda Simon scored 15 points in the Miller City win. Brandi Gerschutz dished out nine assists for the Wildcats.
Miller City was up 36-24 at the half, then used a 16-3 run in the third quarter to break the game open.
Rileigh Stockwell and Makayla Binkley both had eight points for Jefferson (3-9).
