OTTOVILLE - Ottoville scored the final four points of the game Wednesday evening to defeat Crestview 52-48 in non-league action at the L. W. Heckman Gymnasium.

The win snapped a two game losing streak for the Big Green as they improved to 6-2 on the season.

Ottoville took a 40-34 lead to the fourth quarter, but saw the Knights go on a 10-4 run to tie the game at 44-44 on a free throw by sheets. Vinning gave the Knights a 46-44 lead with 3:12. After Logan Kemper tied the game at 46-46, the two teams traded baskets leaving the score tied at 48-48 with 1:06 left.

The Big Green worked the remaining time off the clock as they took the lead with three seconds left when Zane Martin hit a shot. Nick Moorman hit two free throws with a second left for the final score.

Kemper paced the Big Green with 13 points and four rebounds. Moorman added nine points, while Martin and Josh Thorbahn both had eight points. Thorbahn also grabbed a team high five rebounds.

Sheets led the Knights with 11 points, while Etzler and Kline both had 10 points.

LCC 38

LIMA - Kalida outscored Lima Central Catholic in overtime Wednesday evening to record a 40-38 non-league win.

The two teams were tied 35-35 after regulation before the Wildcats (6-2) outscored the T-Birds (4-4) 5-3 for the win. The game was close throughout as LCC had a 20-19 halftime lead before the Wildcats tied the game at 29-29 after three quarters.
