MT. BLANCHARD — Riverdale swept Pandora-Gilboa in a Blanchard Valley Conference match Thursday evening 25-22, 25-14, 25-20.

Brittany Hovest and Mikaylie Morman both had eight kills for the Rockets, while Morman and Paige Fenstermaker both had two blocks. Kayla Rieman had 16 assists for P-G, while Shana Hovest had nine digs and Mackezie Swary had five digs.

P-G won the junior varsity contest 25-16, 25-12.

HAMLER — Miller City dropped a non-league decision to Patrick Henry Thursday evening 25-15, 25-11, 25-9.

Abbey Schroeder served up five aces for the WIldcats (1-4) as she was 10-of-10 serving and she had five digs, while Jana Schroeder was 7-of-7 serving with an ace and four digs. Kylee Ricker was 26-of-27 setting with three assists and she had two block assists, while Makenna Ricker was 5-of-5 hitting with a kill. Haley Lammers had three kills for the Wildcats.

Patrick Henry won the junior varsity match 25-10. 25-10.

Hicksville 3

CONTINENTAL — Hicksville topped Continental in non-league action Thursday evening 25-13, 25-22, 25-15.

Liv Homier was 11-of-11 serving with an ace and Gabbi Young was 10-of-10 serving with an ace. Ashley Kindlien had eight kills, while Young was 27-of-27 setting and Sudney Eickholt was 33-of-35 setting.

Hicksville won the junior varsity contest.

LEIPSIC — Leipsic remained undefeated Wednesday evening with a 25-17, 25-6, 25-12 Blanchard Valley Conference win over Hardin Northern.

Kelly Nadler led the Vikings (2-0, 4-0) with 17 kills as she was 30-of-30 hitting with three blocks and she was 8-of-8 serving with 11 digs. Shalynn Morman was 24-of-27 hitting with 10 kills, 16 digs and three aces, while Brooke Heitmeyer was 11-of-13 hitting with five kills and three blocks. Brooke Gerdeman was 9-of-14 hitting with six kills and Lindsey Rieman had two kills and three blocks.

Emily Ellerbrock was 72-of-72 setting with 36 assists and she was 14-of-14 serving. Mindy Ellerbrock was 11-of-11 serving with five digs, Kelsie Gillespie was 8-of-8 serving with five digs and Brenna Schroeder was 20-of-20 serving with seven digs.

Van Buren 1

PANDORA — Pandora-Gilboa opened Blanchard Valley Conference play Wednesday with a 25-15, 25-27, 25-12, 25-23 win over Van Buren.

Kayla Rieman served up four aces, had 32 assists and 14 digs for the Rockets, while Brittany Hovest had three aces, 22 digs and 32 assists. Alexa Maag gad 12 kills and six blocks for P-G, while Shana Hovest had 35 digs.

The Rockets dropped the junior varsity contest 25-17, 25-22.
