Pandora-Gilboa defeats Leipsic

PANDORA — Pandora-Gilboa put together three big innings Wednesday afternoon to defeat Leipsic 17-4 in Blanchard Valley Conference action.
The Rockets had a 5-4 lead after scoring four times in the bottom of the second inning. P-G increased its lead with five runs in the third inning and seven runs in the fourth.
Megan Maag pitched the Rockets to their first win of the season. Vivian Nofziger went 2 for 2 with three RBI's and Hunter Hermiller was 1 for 1 with an RBI and four walks. Alysse Augsburger was 1 for 1 in the game.
Jada Lopez took the loss for Leipsic.
Alexis Escamilla was 1 for 3 for Leipsic with three RBI's and Emily Ellerbrock had a hit and RBI. Haley Gerten was 1 for 3 in the game.
GLANDORF — Ottawa-Glandorf rallied to defeat Gibsonburg 5-3 in a non-league game Wednesday afternoon.
Gibsonburg took a 3-2 lead with two runs in the fifth inning. The Titans rallied in the bottom of the inning to score twice, then added a run in the sixth inning.
Megan Kitchen picked up the win for O-G (2-0) as she allowed three runs on four hits with two two strikeouts and two walks.
Tasha Cass had a double for the Titans.
Miller City 13
Delphos Jefferson 2
MILLER CITY — Miller City scored at least three runs in the four innings they batted Wednesday in topping Delphos Jefferson 13-2 in non-league action.
The Wildcats scored three times in each of the first three innings, then scored four times in the fourth. Jefferson scored once in the third and once in the fifth.
Liz Schimmoeller (1-1) picked up the win for Miller City as she allowed an unearned run on one hit with four strikeouts and two walks. Kylee Ricker worked the fifth inning allowing a run on two hits.
Cassie Niese had a single, a double and four RBI's for the Wildcats and Janke Van Wezel had three singles and two RBI. Schimmoeller had a single and two RBI and Alissa Schnipke had a double and an RBI.
Wayne Trace 8
CONTINENTAL — Wayne Trace pitcher Molly Crosby held Continental to one hit as the Raiders posted an 8-0 non-league win Wednesday.
Crosby recorded the win as she allowed the Pirates just one hit, a single by Emily Logan. She struck out 11 Pirate batters and walked eight.
Wayne Trace took the lead with two runs in the first inning.
Addison Baumle had two doubles and a single for the Raiders (3-0) and Emilie Linder had a single, triple and drove in three runs. Crosby had a single, double and two RBI and Bailey Bergman had a single and two RBI's. Libby Stabler and Brenda Feasby both had two singles for Wayne Trace.
Emma Recker took the loss for Continental (1-1) as she allowed eight runs on 13 hits with four strikeouts and two walks.
OTTOVILLE — Shawnee used a pair of big innings Wednesday to defeat Ottoville 19-8 in non-league action.
The Big Green had an 8-2 lead after four innings as they scored eight times in the third inning. The Indians rallied for the lead with 10 runs in the fifth inning and seven runs in the sixth.
Courtney Von Sossan took the loss for Ottoville. Haley Landwehr and Mazzie Brinkman both had a triple for the Big Green.
