Quick start leads O-G girls to win

ST. MARYS - Ottawa-Glandorf jumped out to a big lead early as the Titans claimed a 54-21 Western Buckeye League win.
The Titans had a 25-3 lead after the opening quarter before adding to that the rest of the game.
Kristen Miller paced a balanced O-G (14-6) attack with 15 points.
Kelly Heitkamp had five points for the Roughriders.
Van Buren 52
VAN BUREN - Leipsic led by 10 points after the opening quarter as the Vikings posted a 66-52 Blanchard Valley Conference win over Van Buren.
The win moved the Vikings to 6-2 in the BVC, 13-6 overall, as they are assured of at-least a tie for second place in the BVC. The Vikings final BVC game is next Thursday at Hardin Northern. Van Buren is 3-6 in the BVC and 4-16 overall.
Leipsic had a 13-3 lead after the opening quarter and were up 31-20 at the break. A 19-12 scoring run in the third quarter sealed the win.
Kelly Nadler had a double-double for the Vikings with 18 points and 10 rebounds. Haley Gerten added 14 points and Amber Gerdeman had 13 points.
Taylor Gilliland had 20 points for Van Buren and Bichole Miller finished with 13 points.
PANDORA - Pandora-Gilboa used a big second quarter Thursday night to defeat Arlington 59-36 in Blanchard Valley Conference action.
The Rockets (6-3, 13-7) had a 13-10 lead after the first quarter before going on a 20-4 run in the second quarter for a 33-14 halftime lead.
Megan Maag led a balanced P-G attack with 13 points and 10 rebounds. Hunter Hermiller added 10 points, while Vanessa McCullough had nine points, seven assists and four steals.
