Second half helps give O-G win

OTTAWA — Ottawa-Glandorf outscored Napoleon in the second half Saturday night to help the Titans to a 48-37 non-league win.
O-G had a 21-20 halftime lead before outscoring the Wildcats 27-17 in the second half to pull away for the win. A 14-7 scoring run by the Titans in the fourth quarter helped them seal the win.
Noah Bramlage led the Titans (11-6) with 25 points, while Alex Schroeder and Zach Kuhlman both had eight points.
O-G won the junior varsity game 55-37.
Columbus Grove 54
COLUMBUS GROVE — Columbus Grove kept pace in the Putnam County League Saturday with a 54-29 win over Continental.
The Bulldogs improved to 4-1 in the league. Columbus Grove, Kalida, Miller City and Ottoville all have one league loss on the season after action this weekend.
Columbus Grove grabbed a 14-8 lead after one quarter and were up 32-20 after an 18-12 second quarter scoring margin. A 15-5 run in the third quarter helped seal the win.
Will Vorhees had 16 points to lead the Bulldogs and Jace Darbyshire added 15 points.
Tyler Rue had nine points for the Pirates.
Columbus Grove won the junior varsity game 42-10.
Miller City 68
MILLER CITY — Miller City grabbed an early lead Saturday night in beating McComb 68-41 in non-league action.
The Wildcats were up 15-9 after one quarter and had a 33-17 lead at halftime.
Adam Niese led the Wildcats with 20 points and Jackson Lammers finished with 15 points. Adam Drummelsmith had 13 points, seven rebounds and five assists in the win. Cory Heuerman had 10 points and four steals for Miller City.
Trey Hanes had 17 points to lead the Panthers.
Fort Jennings 62
Allen East 54
FORT JENNINGS — Fort Jennings jumped out to a quick lead Saturday evening as the Musketeers downed Allen East 62-54 in non-league action.
The Musketeers grabbed a 17-5 first quarter lead and were up 29-19 at halftime. A 17-11 run in the third quarter by Fort Jennings helped them to the win.
Nick Von Sossan led the Musketeers with 18 points and Connor Wallenhorst added 12 points. Alex Berelsman added 10 points.
Wayne Trace 63
HAVILAND — Wayne Trace outscored Kalida in the middle two quarters Saturday night for a 63-57 non-league win.
The Wildcats had a 13-9 lead after the opening quarter before the Raiders outscored them 43-29 over the middle two quarters for the win. Wayne Trace outscored Kalida 20-14 in the second quarter and then dded a 23-15 run in the third quarter.
Corbin Linder led the Raiders (12-1) with 17 points and Luke Miller had 13 points. Ethan Linder chipped in with 11 points.
Adam Langhals paced the Wildcats (9-7) with 13 points and Luke Langhals had 12 points. Devin Kortokrax finished with 11 points.
Kalida won the junior varsity game 42-33.
