OTTAWA - Ottawa-Glandorf used a big second quarter to pull away from Kenton for a 72-54 Western Buckeye League win Thursday night.
The Titans (3-2, 10-5) had a 20-16 lead after the opening eight minutes before outscoring Kenton 22-12 in the second quarter for a 42-28 halftime lead. A 19-12 run in the third quarter helped them add to their lead.
Kristen Miller had 14 points and dished out six assists for the Titans, while Michelle Maag added 11 points. Elissa Ellerbrock pulled down seven rebounds, while Stephanie Hempfling had five rebounds, five assists and seven steals.
G. Downing had 18 points and five rebounds for the Wildcats. K. Whitaker also had 18 points and B. Bostelman had nine points and seven rebounds.
