COLUMBUS - Three Putnam County volleyball players were picked all-state recognition last week as the Ohio High School Volleyball Coaches Association all-Ohio teams were released.
Ottawa-Glandorf's Kelley Selhorst, Leipsic's Kelly Nadler and Columbus Grove's Julia Wynn picked up honors in Division III and IV, respectively.
Selhorst, a senior setter, picked up third team honors in Division III.
Nadler, a sophomore hitter, picked up third team honors in Division IV, while Wynn, a junior hitter, was named to the Honorable Mention list.
Selhorst, a four year letter winner for O-G, set two school records as she handed out 52 assists in a match this season and holds the career record for assists with 1,618. She averaged 9.1 assists a game this season as she had 713 assists this season.
Nadler, a two-time letter winner, had 240 kills this season for the Vikings and 264 digs. She served up 26 aces and had 15 solo blocks.
Wynn, a two year letter winner, served up 35 aces for the Bulldogs this season and had 106 total blocks, a new school record. She pounded 256 kills for Columbus Grove.
