Five league and one non-league contest highlighted the Putnam County girls basketball schedule Thursday night.Among the league contests Thursday night was a Western Buckeye League game between Ottawa-Glandorf and Celina at the Robert J. Hermiller Gymnasium.

The Bulldogs walked away with a hard-fought win over the Titans 50-46. The contest was tied at 46-46 before the Bulldogs hit four free throws down the stretch for the win. O-G was unable to score another point as they turned the ball over once and missed two late three-pointers.
Leipsic picked up a big Blanchard Valley Conference win Thursday night as the Vikings topped Arlington 41-26. This was the Lady Red Devils first conference setback, while Leipsic is 2-1 in the BVC.
Columbus Grove and Lima Central Catholic hooked up in Northwest Conference play Thursday night with the T0Birds posting a 57-33 win.
In Putnam County League action, Ottoville hosted Miller City and came away with a 78-30 win. Defense was key for the Big Green as they held the Wildcats to five points over the middle two quarters.
In non-league action, Continental defeated Holgate 50-38 using a 15-7 run in the third quarter to pull away from the Tigers.
