OTTAWA - Ottawa-Glandorf's run of second place finishes in the Western Buckeye League came to an end Tuesday evening.
AS the Titans were taking care of business against Lima Bath 25-9, 25-12, 25-17 it gave them the outright 2012 WBL championship. The Titans have finished second in the WBL standings the past four seasons.
The win moved O-G to 8-0 in the league and the championship as everyone else in the league has two losses this season. O-G (15-5) can complete an undefeated league season with a win at Van Wert. This is the Titans first outright title since the 2007 season.
Kelley Selhorst had a big night for the Titans with 36 assists, an ace and 10 digs, while Stacy Walker had 12 kills and Kelsey Baldwin 11 digs. Niki Ellerbrock had nine kills and 13 digs for O-G.
O-G won the junior varsity match 25-7, 25-10 as they remained undefeated on the season.

MILLER CITY - Leipsic wrapped up an outright Putnam County League volleyball title Tuesday evening with a 25-8, 25-4, 25-10 win over Miller City.
The Vikings finish league play at 6-0 and are 18-3 on the season. Miller City is 1-5 and 1-19 on the season. This is the second straight season the Vikings have won the league title.
Amber Gerdeman served up five aces for the Vikings and pounded 10 kills, while Emily Scheckelhoff had five aces and Emily Ellerbrock four aces and 20 assists as she was 47 of 50 setting. Kelly Nadler finished with nine kills.

PANDORA - Pandora-Gilboa outlasted Kalida in a five set Putnam County League match Tuesday night 25-22, 28-26, 17-25, 16-25, 15-11.
Megan Maag pounded 29 kills for the Rockets (4-2, 14-6) as she was 68 of 72 hitting with a block and she was 16 of 16 serving with three aces and 13 digs. Olivia Maag was 14 of 16 serving with three aces and 23 of 29 hitting with five kills, while Vivian Nofziger was 17 of 17 serving and 119 of 125 setting with 40 assists and nine digs. Hunter Hermiller had six kills as she was 30 of 35 hitting.
Kayla Siefker paced Kalida (3-3, 14-7) with 20 kills and she was 39 of 42 hitting with an ace and four blocks. Amy Smith added 10 kills and 20 digs, while Alexis Decker was 72 of 72 setting with 33 assists and Bailey Dangler was 75 of 76 setting with 22 assists along with six kills. Julia Vandemark came uo with 17 digs on the night.
Brianne Rosengarten was 16 of 17 setting for Miller City, 4 of 4 serving and 6 of 6 hitting. Janke vanWezel, Catie Hermiller and Haley Lammers all had five digs for the Wildcats.

OTTOVILLE - Ottoville picked up a non-league volleyball win Tuesday as the Big Green topped Lima Temple Christian 25-17, 25-20, 25-21.
Tonya Kaufman was 20 of 21 serving with an ace and Tammy Wannemacher was 19 of 19 serving and she had nine assists. Abby Siefker was 16 of 20 hitting with seven kills and Anni Lindeman had nine digs.

COLUMBUS GROVE - Columbus Grove finished second in the Putnam County League volleyball race after a 25-23, 25-20, 26-24 win over Kalida Monday.
The Bulldogs finish PCL play at 5-1 and are 15-5 overall. Kalida is 3-2 in the league and 14-6 overall.
Kayla Siefker had 11 kills for the Wildcats, while Bailey Dangler had 15 assists and seven kills. Alexis Decker added 15 assist, Amy Smith had three service aces and Julia Vandemark 10 digs.

MCCOMB - Leipsic's bid to finish second in the Blanchard Valley Conference came up short Monday evening as they fell to McComb 25-21, 20-25, 25-16, 30-28.
Kelly Nadler pounded 15 kills for the Vikings (7-2, 17-3) along with 22 digs and two blocks, while Amber Gerdeman served up three aces along with 10 kills and three blocks. Haley Gerten had 13 kills and 16 digs, Shaylyn Morman had 15 digs and Emily Ellerbrock had 39 assists.
Leipsic won the junior varsity match 25-8, 25-7.

PANDORA - Pandora-Gilboa ended Blanchard Valley Conference play Monday evening with a 25=21, 25-21, 25-22 win over Arcadia.
Megan Maag was 46 of 46 hitting with 21 kills and 13 of 13 serving with three aces for the Rockets (5-4, 13-6) along with three blocks and six digs. Vivian Nofziger was 10 of 10 serving and 78 of 84 setting with 28 assists and six digs, Olivia Maag was 11 of 12 serving with four aces, a block and 11 of 15 hitting, Morgan Gerdeman was 13 of 13 serving and Hunter Hermiller was 14 of 17 serving with three aces and 32 of 36 hitting with nine kills and two blocks.

HAMLER - Patrick Henry denied Miller City a second straight win Monday as the Patriots claimed a 25-12, 25-23, 25-6 non-league win.
Ariel Berger was 23 of 27 hitting with three kills and two solo blocks, while Brianne Rosengarten was 11 of 12 hitting with two aces and four assisted blocks. Haley Lammers was 11 of 11 serving with two solo blocks and six digs and Kylee Ricker was 28 of 30 setting.
