OTTAWA - Ottawa-Glandorf used a strong third quarter Friday night as they opened the 2013-14 season with a 58-36 non-league win over Bowling Green.

With just one starter returning from their 2012-13 championship season, the Titans struggled early as they led 8-5 after one quarter and 23-11 at halftime. In the third quarter, O-G started to find their inside players, Noah Bramlage and Tyler Zender, as they broke the game open. O-G outscored the Bobcats 19-8 in the quarter as they were up 42-19 after three quarters.
Bowling Green outscored the Titans in the fourth quarter as O-G emptied the bench to get everyone in the game.
Bramlage had a big night for the Titans as he scored 19 points and grabbed 14 rebounds. Zender added 11 points and had eight rebounds. Zach Kuhlman pulled down 12 rebounds in the win as O-G had a 48-28 advantage on the boards.
O-G won the junior varsity game as well.
The Titans are back in action Saturday evening as they host Liberty-Benton. The junior varsity game starts at 4:30 p.m.
