Titans pound Napoleon

NAPOLEON — Ottawa-Glandorf pounded out 16 hits Friday evening as the Titans rolled by Napoleon 18-1 in non-league action.
O-G (16-4) had a 1-0 lead before scoring four times in the third inning. The Titans added four runs in the fourth inning and scored eight times in the fifth inning.
Ryan Maas (3-1) picked up the win for O-G.
Tanner Schimmoeller had a home run and three RBIs for the Titans, while Brady Croy had three doubles and three RBI's and Tyler Zender had three singles and three RBIs. Andrew Wischmeyer had a double and two singles for O-G.
Fort Jennings 9
CONTINENTAL — Fort Jennings scored the final six runs of the game as they rallied for a 9-7 Putnam County League win over Continental.
The Pirates had a 7-3 lead after scoring seven times in the bottom of the third. The Musketeers responded with a run in the fourth inning before scoring five times in the fifth inning.
Bret Clay picked up the win for the Musketeers. Connor Wallenhorst had three singles for the Musketeers and Dylan VanLoo had two singles.
PANDORA — Pandora-Gilboa rallied to defeat Ada 11-6 in non-league action.
The Bulldogs had a 5-2 lead after two innings before the Rockets scored three times in each of the third, fourth and fifth innings for the win.
Alex Osborn (3-1) picked up the win for P-G.
Brian Schneck had two singles and a triple for the Rockets, while TK Koepplinger had two singles and a double. Jacob Basinger had a triple and three RBIs.
Miller City 9
KALIDA — Kalida stranded the tying and winning runs on base Friday night as Miller City defeated the Wildcats 9-8 in non-league action.
Kalida trailed 9-7 going to the bottom of the seventh before scoring a run and having runners at second and third base. Two flyouts and a strikeout ended the game.
Miller City scored five times in the second inning and four times in the third inning for their nine runs. Kalida started its comeback with four runs in the bottom of third.
Logan Dukes picked up the win for Miller City.
Jared Fuka had two singles and a double for the Wildcats. Jackson Lammers (two RBIs) and Jeremy Balbaugh (three RBIs) both had a double.
Derek Buss took the loss for Kalida.
Jeffrey Knueve had a double, single and three RBIs for Kalida and Blaine Warnimont a triple and single and an RBI. Brent Hovest had a single and two RBIs
