ELIDA - Ottawa-Glandorf's defense turned in another stellar effort Friday night as the Titans were on the road to face Elida in a Western Buckeye League contest.

The Titans defense came up with stop, after stop as O-G pitched a shutout against the Bulldogs by the final score of 10-0.
The win halted a three game losing streak for the Titans as they improved to 4-4 on the season and 3-4 in the WBL.
O-G's defense limited the Bulldogs to just 224 yards in the game as 156 of that came through the air. Meanwhile, the Titans racked up 278 yards of offense as they had 164 yards on the ground.
Tyler Zender led the O-G offense with 15 tackles, including one for a loss and he had a sack and caused a fumble that Logan Rieman recovered. Bryant DIemer had seven tackles for the Titans.
While both teams defenses stood out, the Titans had a 3-0 halftime lead as Mitch Niese kicked a 38 yard field goal with 1:54 left in the first half.
O-G's second score came with 8:21 left to play as Rieman hit Zender with a 25 yard scoring pass. WIth Niese's extra point it was 10-0 and the rest was up to the Titan defense.
Shane Schroeder topped the 100 yard mark on the night as he carried the ball 16 times for 102 yards with his best run being a 38 yard scamper. Rieman rushed for 51 yards on 18 carries and threw for 114 yards as he completed 10-of-21 passes. Zach Kuhlman caught six passes for 60 yards in the win.
Logan Alexander was 13-of-24 passing for 156 yards for the Bulldogs. Avery Sumpter caught four passes for 48 yards and Baylen Stinson caught four passes for 46 yards. Alexander carried the ball 18 times for 62 yards.
