LIMA - The University of Northwestern Ohio is pleased to announce Dave Kortokrax has accepted the position as head men's golf coach. Kortokrax is the second men's golf coach in UNOH history.
Kortokrax graduated from the University of Toledo in December 1988 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration/Marketing. While at Toledo, Kortokrax was a four-year letterman for the Rockets and was named the team captain as a senior. He was the winner of the 1988 Toledo Amateur Championship and the 1988 Collegiate Zip Invitational at Firestone Country Club. He was named the Mid-American Conference Player of the Week in spring 1988, and he was named the Bill Duschl Award Winner in 1988, given to the team member who contributes the most to the success of the team.
After graduation, he was an Assistant Golf Professional at Stone Oak Country Club in Holland, Ohio, from March 1989 through October 1992. Since then, he founded Landmark Building Company, CRM Services and Ohio Tile Restoration, which he currently owns.
