Vikings remain undefeated

VAN BUREN - Leispic rallied in the fourth quarter Friday night to defeat Van Buren 26-20 in a Blanchard Valley Conference game.The Vikings move to 3-0 on the season and 2-0 in the league.
Leipsic trailed 13-12 going to the fourth quarter before outscoring the Black Knights 14-7 in the final quarter.
Pandora-Gilboa and Ottawa-Glandorf also were looking to move to 3-0 on the season, but were unsuccessful in their attempts.
The Rockets ventured over to Arlington and dropped a 63-7 BVC decision to the Red Devils. P-G is now 2-1 on the season, while Arlington is 3-0.
Ottawa-Glandorf continued their early season road tour going down to Celina for a Western Buckeye League game with the Bulldogs. The Bulldogs protected their home turf with a 24-14 win.
O-G dropped to 2-1 on the season, while the Bulldogs are 3-0.
O-G pulled within 17-14 early in the fourth quarter on a Brad Racer six yard run. The game remained a three point game until there was 2:34 left to play when Louden Limon scored on a four yard run to give Celina a 10 point cushion.
The Bulldogs took a quick 7-0 lead when Limon scored on a nine yard run less than two minutes into the game. The Bulldogs went up 10-0 early in the second quarter when Braelen Bader kicked a 26 yard field goal.
The Titans got on the scoreboard when Racer scored on a two yard run with 3:33 left in the half. A 50 yard touchdown pass from Caleb Hoyng to Stefan Chittum put the Bulldogs up 17-7.
O-G had trouble getting their offense going Friday night as they were held to 183 yards of offense, while Celina had 407 yards of offense in the game, 321 through the air.
Columbus Grove was unable to break into the win column Friday night as they fell to Ada 20-0 in Northwest Conference action.
Ada's defense was the story of the game as they held the Bulldogs to just 64 yards of total offense on the night, 34 yards rushing and 30 passing. Ada had 352 yards of offense with 340 of that coming from the arm of Matt Wilcox who was 28-of-43 passing in the game with three touchdowns.
Blake Ansley caught two of the touchdown passes from Wilcox in the win.
