LEIPSIC - Leipsic pulled away from Cory-Rawson over the final three quarters Friday night to post an 89-50 Blanchard Valley Conference win.
The Vikings (1-0, 2-1) had a 22-19 lead after eight minutes before pulling out to a 40-26 halftime lead. A 25-14 scoring run in the third quarter salted the game away for Leipsic.

Devin Mangas led the Vikings with 20 points, while Austin Brown had 15 points and 11 rebounds. Caleb Barrera added 15 points and Derek Steffan finished with 10 points.

Tyler Harris had a game high 24 points for the Hornets.

Columbus Grove 34

COLUMBUS GROVE - Lima Central Catholic outscored Columbus Grove in the fourth quarter Friday night to post a 38-34 Northwest Conference win.

The T-Birds took a 28-27 lead to the final quarter before posting a 10-7 scoring margin for the win.

M. Kimbrough had eight points to lead LCC.

Will Vorhees kept the Bulldogs (0-1, 2-1) close with a game high 18 points and Derek Rieman had 11 points. Vorhees had a double-double for the Bulldogs as he grabbed 12 rebounds.

Fairview 52

SHERWOOD - Continental and Fairview couldn't get enough of one another Friday night.

The two teams played four overtimes before the Pirates pulled out a 57-52 non-league win.

Continental outscored the Apaches 9-8 in the fourth quarter to force overtime as the two teams were tied at 48-48. Through the first three overtimes each team scored just two points, those coming in the second overtime. After a second scoreless overtime period in the third extra session, Continental won the game outscoring Fairview 7-2.

Tyler Dockery led the Pirates (4-1) with 19 points, while Zach Schwarzman had 14 points, five steals and four assists. Justin Halliwill finished with 13 points and Chaz Slattman had seven points and 13 rebounds.

Fort Jennings 59

Ottoville 36

FORT JENNINGS - Fort Jennings bolted out to a quick lead Friday night as the Musketeers posted a 59-44 non-league win over Ottoville.

Behind 10 first quarter points from Brandon Kohli and six each from Nick Von Sossan and Kurt Warnecke, the Musketeers grabbed a 25-14 lead. After a low scoring second quarter, Ft. Jennings had a 30-17 halftime lead before using a 14-10 third quarter scoring advantage to lead 44-27.

Kohli led the Musketeers (1-4) with 18 points, while Von Sossan finished with 14 points. Connor Wallenhorst added 11 points and Warnecke had 10 points.

Luke Schimmoeller had 15 points for the Big Green (1-4) and Derek Schimmoeller added 14. Brandt Landin had seven points to round out the Ottoville scoring.

PANDORA - Pandora-Gilboa evened their Blanchard Valley Conference record at 1-1 with a 59-32 win over Hardin Northern Friday night.
