PANDORA - Leipsic jumped out to a quick lead Saturday night as the Vikings claimed a 67-35 Putnam County League boys basketball win.

The Vikings (2-0, 6-1) had a 17-7 lead after the opening eight minutes and were up 40-21 at the half with a 23-14 second quarter scoring advantage. A 16-4 run in the third quarter helped Leipsic put the game away.

Devin Mangas canned a pair of three-pointers for Leipsic as he led the way with 21 points. Zach Kuhlman added 17 points as he had three three-pointers. Aric Schroeder dished out six assists and had five steals and Mitch Kuhlman grabbed seven rebounds.

Brian Schneck led the Rockets (0-2, 2-6) with eight points and Jared Tousley had six points.

MCCOMB - McComb limited Continental's offense Saturday night as the Panthers claimed a 66-37 non-league win.

The Pirates (4-4) were held to 14 first half points as McComb (3-5) had a 29-14 first half lead. A 19-9 run by McComb in the second quarter helped them to the big halftime lead.

Clay Grubb led the Panthers with 19 points, while Dalton Buck had 13 points and Clay Dysert finished with 10. Jerry Brown finished with nine points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists.

Chaz Slattman and Tyler both had eight points for the Pirates.

FORT JENNINGS - Lima Temple Christian had a big second half Saturday night as the Pioneers topped Fort Jennings 62-55 in non-league action.

The Pioneers and Musketeers were deadlocked at 214-24 at halftime before Temple Christian outscored the Musketeers 17-12 in the third quarter for a 41-36 lead. A 21-19 fourth quarter scoring edge completed the second half comeback.

Fort Jennings (1-9) had a 15-10 first quarter lead before the Pioneers outscored them 14-9 in the second quarter.

Sutton, Kroehler and Rhoad all had 16 points for the Pioneers in the win.

Connor Wallenhorst had a big night for the Musketeers with 23 points as he had three three-pointers. Nick Von Sossan added 13 points as he also had three three-pointers.

Kurt Warnecke grabbed eight rebounds for Ft. Jennings and had six assists.
