First annual Ride for Robin is Saturday GLANDORF - The first annual "Ride for Robin" community bicycle event will take place this Saturday.
This is a fundraising event for the family of Gary and Robin Baughman as they are going through some tough times right now as Robin battles cancer. The "Ride for Robin" is being presented by Insanity Multisport.
The "Ride for Robin" is a community bicycle event that starts at the Glandorf Park and will allow riders to wind their way around Putnam County as distances are set at 18, 30 and 60 miles. The cost is $20 per rider. A one mile kids ride will start at 10:30 a.m. and will cost $10 per rider.
Registration starts at 8 a.m. the day of the event and all riders must be on their way by 9:30 a.m. Helmets are required to ride. Lunch will be provided as well as route maps, snacks at rest stops and there will be door prizes.
