Putnam County HomeCare and Hospice fundraiser OTTAWA - Putnam County HomeCare & Hospice will be holding its annual fundraiser at the Ottawa K of C Hall at 10759 Road H in Ottawa, on Saturday, Feb. 13. Tickets are $30 per person or a table of 12 for $360.
The night will begin with a social hour from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. followed by a catered dinner by Henry's featuring Pineapple Sweet & Sour Chicken and Pork, Rice, Glazed Carrots and Summer Time Salad. In addition, there will be a variety of island flavored cupcakes for dessert. Around 7:15 p.m. there will be a cash drawing and at 7:30 p.m. a live auction where various donated items from the community and local businesses will be auctioned. In addition, there will be an incredible silent auction throughout the evening.
Each year, the annual fundraiser helps to offset the high cost of care of our terminally ill patients in Putnam County. Many times, the cost of care exceeds the money reimbursed by Medicare and private insurance. Putnam County residents are very fortunate to be able to have the generosity of not only the United Way of Putnam County, but also the many community members and businesses in support of such a worthwhile cause. The proceeds raised from this benefit will remain in Putnam County. No one is ever turned away for the inability to pay. Everyone has a right to have the best end of life care.
Donations are being sought and tickets are available for purchase. Call Putnam County HomeCare & Hospice at 419-523-4449 for tickets or any questions or concerns.
